Olivia Tomfohrde

Welcome! I’m Olivia and thank you for stopping by to check out my page. I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with PEGACLSA74V1-A questions and bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I’m lucky to be part of the team of great therapists at First Things First and was lucky enough to do my clinical internship here as well!

I’ve worked hands on with individuals, families, and couples for a number of years through various groups and agencies in the Eau Claire area. I love working with children and families and in the past year created MCD-Level-1 and facilitate the Chippewa Valley Autism Parent Group, a support group for parents of children with autism. This has been a rewarding experience for me since one of my passions is working with children (and their families) on the MCD Level 1 autism spectrum or with other special needs. My other interests are parenting skills, adoption, attachment, life transitions, trauma, and family relationships. I enjoy working with families, couples, individuals and groups.

I believe that change takes commitment and time and enjoy working with clients who aren’t afraid to try something new and work hard. I find that therapy relationships should be based on respect and trust and I work hard to make sure that my clients feel heard and respected.
